Naomi completed her studies in psychology at the University of Queensland in 1976. She then held a number of positions in Queensland, Western Australia and South Australia including counselling young children, working with adults with long-term intellectual and psychological disabilities, undertaking research in a remote Aboriginal community in northern Queensland, and family, relationship and individual counselling at non-government organisations in Adelaide. She obtained her registration as a psychologist in South Australia in 1987.
She worked as a rehabilitation coordinator in the Workers’ Compensation system before opening her private practice in October 1990. Naomi has remained in private practice since this time.
Naomi has undertaken training as a yoga teacher in the Iyengar tradition as well as studying other approaches both overseas and in Australia. Recently she completed training towards becoming a yoga therapist.
